Cancer Quilt

A couple of years ago, our shop participated in National Quilt Pink day.
Our quilt, shown below was sewn together with love by many, many different people.
The individual split rail blocks were sewn by individuals who passed through our shop,
and the top by the ladies shown below.
One quilt was donated to Susan G. Koman foundation to raise money for breast cancer research and the other donated to a local Relay for Life team.
Today, we learned that the quilt was won by a local woman, who is a breast cancer
survivor. It brings a smile to our face to know the stitches of love put into this quilt
are keeping a lucky local lady warm each night.
Thanks to all the people who participated in the event.
Your hard work was greatly appreciated!

Anchor's Ahoy!!
(This is our new monthly pattern...kits are available!)
Have a wonderful weekend.
