It's had to believe the 17 day state shop hop journey is coming to an end and very soon
the Mpls skyline above will be in our rear view mirror until next year rolls around.
We have truly enjoyed every day of the hop. It's been great fun meeting many many new people from all over the state, surrounding states, coasts, and even other countries!!
.
We have spent much time laughing as we have really accomplished nothing here in the shop.
It truly is a fantastic problem and we will never complain about it, but it does make for some
slow (slower than usual) blog posts. But.....we have been victorious and have got a couple things
to show ya!!!
.
For those of you who have come in and for those of you who haven't this particular pattern is of our FREE 9-inch square for the state hop. It's the double nine patch block. We used some of the state fabrics (red-green-cream burlap) and some of Holly Taylor's winter motif squares and red and green border pieces. The complete pattern will be on the website so check it out!
.
When we were in Pittsburgh this spring Lacey sat in on Fig Tree's schoolhouse session.
She left loving these cute little smocks called Little Picasso. They are suppose to be loose fitting play smocks for kids to paint in and play in. However we think they'd be a cute jumper!!
Lacey's awesome photography today doesn't show them well or do them justice but you get the idea. This one is the solid one...2 fabrics...goes together really quick.

This one would work wonderful with a charm pack. A little more work involved to piece the top together but also goes together really quick.
If you have young children, or grandchildren these are a must!!
With things slowing down....or speeding up?? hopefully we'll have some fun new things to show you for fall and the holiday seasons!!
