Thinkin' Spring

"Spring is when you feel like whistling, even with a shoe full of slush"

~Doug Larson

We have decided here in the shop that instead of shoes full of slush, we have shoes full of water as our "famous" Lake of the Past continues to grow. It's funny in a sense that both gals enjoy the lake, and are now located in "lake front property" We continue to try and find humor in all of the water and have decided if it doesn't start draining soon we'll dig out the rubber ducks and the yellow rubber raft Joe won at the races one night! That outta look cute in front of the shop!

Today we have our monthly Wool on Wednesday meeting and we are workin' on spring!
The eggs (pattern by Brenda Gervais of Country Stitches) have been quite popular and are fun and quick to stitch. We've also smiled- for those of you who love to knit or chochet with eyelash yarn it makes wonderful Easter grass!!

This is their monthly project from Starry Pines patterns.
Who knew that when we started this the day they came to stitch they'd need their umbrella!

The above "Just for Bee'n You" is Darci's newest monthly creation.

For those of you who know Darci well you know this isn't exactly her
signature style and colors, but she's got spring fever and those juices were flowin'
The mat was inspired by a bouquet of spring daisies (shown a few posts ago) that
were given to her by some dear friends . . . just for being her!
